킥스타트는 지역 혁신 거점을 만드는 것을 시작으로 도시 전체를 혁신 생태계로 만드는 것을 목적으로 합니다. 폐건물, 흉가, 버려진 공장, 유휴 토지 등을 활용하여 혁신가들을 위한 지역단위 공간을 활성화하고 있습니다. 영국의 대표적인 지역혁신형 코워킹스페이스 ‘WIMBLETECH CIC’ 모델을 기반으로 혁신가들이 지역 내 혁신활동을 논의하고 실행 할 수 있는 창의적인 공간 및 인프라를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 합니다. 사무실, 코워킹스페이스, 스터디카페 등 많은 공간들이 있지만, 킥스타트는 사용자들이 만들어가는 오픈 이노베이션 스페이스를 지향합니다. 언제, 누가 무엇을, 어떻게 쓰느냐에 따라 그 목적과 형태가 달라질 수 있도록 구성하였습니다. 우리는 완벽하게 오픈된 공간을 통해 지역에 거주하는 사람들이 지역 네트워크의 힘을 활용하고 연결, 협력하여 지역 사회에 환원 될 수 있기를 지향합니다.

KickstartAsia aims to make the entire city an innovative ecosystem, starting with creating a regional innovation base. We are revitalizing regional spaces for innovators by utilizing abandoned buildings, haunted houses, and idle spaces. Based on the "WIMBETECH CIC" model, the UK's representative regional innovation co-working space model, it aims to provide creative space and infrastructure for innovators in the village to discuss and implement innovation activities. There are many spaces such as offices, co-working spaces, and study cafes, but Kickstart Asia aims for an open innovation space created by users. It is designed so that its purpose and form can be different depending on when, who, and how they write. We aim to allow people living in the region to use, connect, and cooperate with the power of the local network to be returned to the local community through a fully open space.
